My mothers name was Wanda R Miller(lewis).She was born May 1, 1951,to Harold and Gladys Lewis.She had 11 Brothers and sisters. At age one she had a operation to remove a tumor from her hip .She told me she wasn't supposed to make it though it. Again at age 7 she had the same opartion again not suppose to make it though it .She liked to play in a shed she called it her play house. She liked to sing at church ,and at sunday school with her brothers and sisters. She also got very good grades in school.One time she told Aunt Dawn she know where the real big starwberrys grew. She didn't tell Dawn they were the ones that Grandma used for her jellys.They got into a bit of trouble for that one. She used to ride horse ,she loved running them at high speeds.She was a great artist, but she seemed to give it up because of haveing kids herself. At age 13 she lost her mother to a auto accident. She never did get over losing her mother. Then her and he bothers and sisters went to live with her brother ,and his wife Donnie and Bonnie Lewis while her father got back on his feet.Ever since then she called Donnie and Bonnie Mom and Dad.
There was this one time she was watching the family cows ,and got chased up a tree by the bull. She also like to go sledding down hills in barrels and tires. When she was young she was popular with the boys.She was a great artist,but she seemed to give it up because of having kids herself
At age 16 she became pregnant by Jim Parshall. She gave birth to my brother Bruce in 1969.In 1970 she gave birth to my bother Brian. As time went by Jim Parshall left and she was froced to raise 2 young boys on her own. At that time she had no car, no licence.Grandpa and grandma parshall (norris and alberta)helped mom get all that.The court awarded her ex husbands brand new plymouth roadrunner.She ended up putting it in a demolition derby,so happens her ex husband was at that very demolition derby his once beloved car was entered into.She always said you should of seen the look upon his face when he seen his car there.In the yr 1976 she met Frederick P Miller which was in the united states marine corp at the time .He had 3 boys of his own also.
she marryed in 77.She lived in North Carolina at camp Lejune on base for a while and then moved back to Taylor NY.In 1980 she gave brith to a little girl named Mistie A Miller. She struggled with alcoholism for many years.she later had complications from drinking alcohol,and smoking cigarettes. She was not proud of who she became and slowly weened herself of alcohol.and slowed down dramatically smoking. She was admitted a few times to the hospital, and relized how short life really was. She was a wonderful mother,wife,grandma,and friend .She made sure all the family knew she loved them. She was there day or night. She often helped the less fortunate any way she could,for instance prepareing food baskets,lending money if she had it ,and would give the shirt off her back if need be. She was a very good listener,would help anyone with a problem they had. She was well known ,and well liked by everyone.

She had her first Grandchild in 1981 Terri Lynn Miller.Which has two of her own now . She didnt get to see her much. It wasJim sons James's child and there was hard mix feeling in that story. Then in 1989 Jessica Marie Parshall, 1990 David James Parshall 1992 Katelyn E Parshall ,and in 1998 Masie Lynn Parshall was born to her oldest son Bruce and Sue Parshall. In in 1995 Braina Marie was born to Brian and Leeann parshall (Crandall).Also in 2004 Kristen James Parshall was born to Brain and Kim Parshall(Margenson). In 1997 Kandace Marie Long,in 2002 Kiara Mae Long and in 2004 Skily Virgina Long was born to the only and youngest daughter Mistie and Steven Long.Wanda was a great woman in many ways.she has touched alotta lives in one way or another. She will be sadly missed by many.the good thing is heavens got one more angel for sure to watch over all of us

Passed away on February 7, 2007 at the age of 55.
